Numbers 1, 4, and 8 are more folksy, featuring a range of musical accompaniments from banjos and guitar pickings to the harmonica. They’ll keep you warm inside with their heartfelt lyrics, and the rhythms will keep in time with the pace of your traveling adventure.
Number 2 is the mantra song that you will want to apply to every aspect of your life. Urging you to “step out into the wild,” the song provides a beautifully conveyed incentive to take risks, to be bold, to exit your comfort zone and enter the unknown.
Numbers 3, 6, and 7 will get you up and out into the world; upon hearing these songs, you will most certainly want to explore and experience the richest life possible. M83 provides the techno beats, The Royal Concept provides the cheerful, addictive melody, and The Vacationer will make you want to tap coconuts together on a sun-soaked beach.
Lastly: numbers 5, 9, and 10 are some of my favorite songs to date that just happen to include travel-tinged messages. They are light-hearted and beautiful, and will provide a sweet accompaniment to your journey, wherever it may be.
I hope you enjoy this eclectic little mix of songs as much as I do. So plug in your headphones, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
